Hi y’all! So I just got back from an overnight trip in Alaminos City, Pangasinan. It was a long drive from Manila. We went off around 3AM on the 29th of December and arrived, maybe 8AM the same day. It was a smooth drive and had a very nice sleep on our way there, except for Bryan, who was super struggling to get some sleep. Sadly, he didn’t get to sleep during that 5-hour trip, but he was seated next to me so I think ’twas still fine. *winks*
Our butts hurt for that long ride so we head on to the nearest fast food for breakfast before we embark for island hopping.
There were no food stalls in any of the islands where we could buy our lunch. So, our tour guide/driver told us to buy our lunch in the port first, and we did. We had bangus, itlog na pula, pork adobo and ensaladang talong.
Sorry, I failed to count if there were really hundred islands in this place. Haha and I was too busy savoring this 360 view, like this kid.
I am really fond of the beach. I don’t get to see it as often as I want so I might as well shut my ears from whatever the tour guide is saying and just focus on the beach waves and not mind having my hair be blown by the wind.
We only spent like 4-5hrs for island hopping and snorkeling. We skipped seeing the other islands and just boat around of them. Our legs really sore and we wanted to hit the bed already, but ’twas fun, definitely!
December 30th came, it’s Bryan’s xth birthday! Haha.. All were too lazy to get up early. We actually ditched the city tour because we were too attached on our beds. We left our transient house around 12 noon and went to Maxine by the Sea for Bryan’s birthday lunch. Sobrang sarap ng food! Especially the bulalo! Nom nom. I missed to take picture of all the food kasi sobrang gutom na. Haha!
Lastly, we cannot forget to buy some souvenir items and shirts before we head home.
It was indeed a quick trip. But quick getaways at the beach is worth it, no matter how short or long our stay is. ❤
